What are we about?

This database stores information for diseases that would probably not exist in the real world,
but is an interesting thought experiment.

How are our diseases classified?

The classification procedure is very lengthy. To simplify things, a simple class tier system is assinged.

  1. Class 1 diseases
  2. Class 1 diseases pose an imminent threat to the infected individual. Class 1 can be classified if there is
    (1) no known cure, (2) is very contagious, or (3) chances of survival are fewer than
1 in 1,000,000 , or if no such instance of survival have been documented. At lease two of the three requirements above
need to be satisfied in order for disease to be assigned a class 1 threat.

  1. Class 2 diseases
  2. Class 2 diseases still pose an imminent threat to the infected individual. However, unlike Class 1
diseases, (1)treatment methods exist to ensure that the infected individual can live a somewhat comfortable
life, (2) symptoms of disease does not put the infected individual in a state of near expiration, and
    (3) disease is not contagious in urban enviroments.

  1. Class 3 diseases
  2. Class 3 diseases does not put the infected individual at risk of expiry. Class 3 diseases can be classified
through investigating it's symptoms. It's symptoms must not be (1) more severe than a class 2 or 1 disease,
and (2) disease can be easily treated using ameture medical science (e.g consumer antibiotics, painkillers)
